Diverembal was founded in Portugal in 2004 by Carlos Miguel Ferreira and a team with extensive experience in the food industry. It aims to congregate in a company only a wide range of products and solutions to serve all types of companies in the industry. It began to represent exclusively the company Bemis (one of the world leaders in Bags and Films) and Viskase (world leader in Artificial Casings). Then, he joined one of the world’s largest producers of Premium Knives, Zwilling and later to Nippi Casing (Collagen Casings).
In 2009 changed its facilities with triple capacity, obtained SGS group certification (ISO 9001:2008) and became the dealer of the world leader in Additives, Cargill. The following year, it also exclusively represents CTH (Natural Casings) and Eurobag (PA / PE Bags).
During the year 2012 there was a commitment to offer specialized equipment with the exclusive representation of GEA, Zermat, Grobba, Hartmann and Yamato.
Subsequently there was also a bet on two new ones represented in the field of the Collagen Casings and the Additives and Aromas, these being Viscofan and Mane.

2014 – Entry of the represented Mane (Additives) and celebration of the tenth anniversary of Diverembal
2015 – Creation of the Divertec brand
2016 – Entrance of the represented Hasenosa
2017 – Entrance of the represented Brenntag (Cargill)
2018 – SGS group certification (ISO 9001:2015), Addition of new facilities, creation of the Grupo Diverembal brand, entrance of the represented Kerry (Hasenosa)
2019 – Celebration of the fifteenth anniversary
